Acting Up

Trainees who are within one year of their anticipated CCT are eligible to 'Act-Up' as consultants, to a maximum period of three months (pro rata for LTFT)

Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP)

The Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) is the formal method by which a trainee's progression through their training programme is monitored and recorded.

Less than Full Time training

Less Than Full Time (LTFT) training is a scheme whereby eligible trainee doctors of all grades are able to request to work on a part time basis
