Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) are responsible for delivering Specialty Training in Wales and currently offer over 60 programmes.  To make it easier to find what you’re looking for, we have separated our information for current trainees and prospective trainees:

Absence from training

If you are absent from training for any reason, you must inform NWSSP and your Department/Directorate.

Completing/leaving specialty training

It is important that HEIW are aware that you are leaving your training programme, whether you have completed your training or are leaving early.
