Consultation for the Welsh Apprenticeship Framework for Healthcare Science Assistants and Associates

As the development partner for the healthcare apprenticeships, we have been leading on a review of the Healthcare Science Apprenticeship Pathway.  A steering group was established to oversee this work with membership from Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), NHS Wales, education and training providers, Welsh Government, Qualifications Wales and the Independent Sector.

The proposal in this reviewed Pathway is to include qualifications at Levels 2, 3 and the Level 4 Healthcare Science Associate qualification which is already available as an Apprenticeship.

The consultation will run from Monday 6 February to Monday 13 March 2023. We would value your views on the reviewed Pathway.
