SOSET - Skills Optimiser Self-Evaluation Tool

The Skills Optimiser Self-Evaluation Tool (SOSET) is a dental practice team development tool, which allows the whole team to focus on how they are addressing a ‘skill-mix’/teamwork approach for the effective delivery of oral healthcare.

It is used during a facilitated session with your local Quality Improvement Educator. Preparing for and using the SOSET qualifies every participant for two hours verifiable CPD. The use of SOSET aligns with the emphasis on skill mix with the focus on prevention in line with Welsh Government, NHS, and General Dental Services (GDS) Contract Reforms and Prudent Healthcare.
