Welcome to the Sharing Training Excellence in Multiprofessional Education (STEME) Conference 2023 webpage.

Arranged and organised by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), this face to face conference is being hosted at Swansea.com Stadium on Thursday, 23 March 2023 and is open to all individuals who undertake trainer roles in medicine and other healthcare professions within NHS Wales (Note: registration in advance is essential).

The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for trainers working in the various professions across healthcare in Wales to come together in a multiprofessional learning environment to develop knowledge and skills to support them in delivering their trainer roles effectively.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Collaborating to improve training across Wales’.

The focus of the conference will be on positive change and the things that we can do to support and improve education and training despite the current challenges facing healthcare.
