Continuing Professional Development
We provide courses and events to the whole dental team. Every year we deliver over 200 events, through which we award 13,000 verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
This helps dental professionals like you show a commitment to maintaining your knowledge and skills during your career.
The General Dental Council’s scope of practice gives guidance on what skills professionals can undertake if they are trained and competent. You must judge your limitations against this, and seek advice where needed.
CPD events
CPD events can be found on our learning management system, Y Ty Dysgu.
They are open to all staff who work in the NHS in Wales.
General Dental Practitioners (GDPs) and Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) who work in exclusively private practices may attend but will be charged a fee for our hands-on training.
