General Dental Practices with an NHS contract are entitled to free basic life support and medical emergency training that is organised with HEIW.
The Dental Section has introduced a blended approach for dental teams basic life support and medical emergency training. After completion of an online learning module (1 hour CPD), Dental Teams within General Dental Practices can supplement this training with a practical session at their practice (1 hour CPD), carried out by our commissioned Training Providers.
Completion of both courses meets the GDC enhanced CPD criteria and represents 2 hours of verifiable CPD.

Online Learning Module - Dental Professionals can complete the online learning module via our new Learning Management System, Y Ty Dysgu.
