Extended duties for DCP's

We offer a variety of extended duties courses for qualified, registered Dental Care Professionals (DCP).

These offer an opportunity to further your qualifications, knowledge, and clinical skills. It will also open new career opportunities by enhancing existing clinical skills in line with the General Dental Council’s (GDC) scope of practice guidance.

Extended duties events available are:

• Impression taking
• Intra-oral clinical photography
• Making Prevention Work in Practice (MPWiP)

To attend these courses, you’ll need to have appropriate indemnity in place. You will also need to have a GDC registered clinical supervisor. They will supervise your training and provide evaluation and feedback as part of the digital portfolio of competency.
