Associate Dean for Simulation and Clinical Skills (and Project Lead), Health Education and Improvement Wales
Sara trained in Anaesthetics and Critical Care and currently works as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. She is also an Associate Dean for Simulation at Health Education and Improvement Wales. She has a particular interest in education and simulation and in 2016 was fortunate to undertake a prestigious simulation fellowship in Sydney. Sara leads up the Simulation Team at HEIW and specialises in the delivery of in-situ simulation for both education as well as quality improvement within her clinical role. Sara strongly advocates for education and simulation that is high-quality, equitably accessible, interprofessional and collaborative.
