Flexible Training Lead for Secondary Care, Health Education and Improvement Wales

Gemma is a Consultant Anaesthetist at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and has recently been appointed as Lead for Flexible Training in Secondary Care for HEIW. Her past experience includes developing the School of Anaesthesia return to work course and working with the Royal College of Anaesthetists developing their national guidelines and virtual return to work course.  Gemma now works with host organisations, trainers and resident doctors to educate all stakeholders while aiming to embed and inform the Less than Full Time (LTFT) training policy in Wales.
