Director of Multiprofessional Primary and Community Care Education and Training, Health Education and Improvement Wales

Since 2021, Esther has led the development of the Multiprofessional Education and Training Unit for Primary Care within Health Education and Improvement Wales.  This includes the development of the primary and community care academy network across Wales.  She is passionate about enabling every member of our workforce, clinical and non-clinical, to be confident and competent in their role, have a sense of belonging to a wider team and bring their unique contribution to providing healthcare in our communities. Esther has worked in a variety of roles in medical education in Wales and Australia including medical student, foundation doctor, multi-professional, GP specialty training and educator development.  She is a GP Partner and GP Trainer.
