Paediatric ST4 / Simulation Fellow, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

Emily is a paediatric ST4 trainee with an interest in medical education. She graduated from Cardiff University in 2017 and completed her foundation training at Swansea Bay UHB. Following an F3 year in paediatrics, she began specialty training in 2020. In the past year, she completed the Welsh Clinical Leadership Fellowship, developing her skills as a compassionate leader. Working with Cardiff and Vale UHB’s Medical Education Team, she contributed to the development of simulation-based education, including designing a multi-disciplinary course on conflict resolution and civility in healthcare. Emily now balances her clinical training with a role as a Simulation Fellow one day a week.
