- Public Health Wales are holding a number of events some will provide information on apprenticeships, in addition there will be sessions aimed specifically at apprenticeships in Digital Skills, Business Amin, ILM and Project Management. To register for these events click here
- Colleagues across NHS Wales highlighted Careersville as a fantastic digital resource for anyone considering applying for an apprenticeship within NHS Wales. Developed by our team at HEIW, our virtual career village for NHS Wales features a Skills Library building, which offers useful resources for anyone considering a career in the NHS. This includes interview and application support and guidance, apprenticeship blogs and more.
- Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board’s award-winning Apprenticeship Academy has shared advice and apprenticeship experiences from both new and existing members of staff who have completed apprenticeships to upskill, achieve development qualifications and progress in their roles. There are offering a workshop to managers to help turn a vacancy into an apprenticeship opportunity, in addition there will be sessions aimed specifically at apprenticeships in ILM, admin, clinical health, health and social care and management. - Hywel Dda University Health Board are conducting a celebration event of their current apprentices, showcasing the current pathways on offer in the health board. Over the past fortnight, apprentices and staff have been given the opportunity to nominate people who have supported them whilst undertaking their apprenticeship and these will be officially presented. Keep an eye on their social media links for a video made by old and new apprentices stating what they have achieved/learned/looking forward to learning on their pathway.
