New Perinatal Mental Health e-learning modules now available on Y Ty Dysgu

Healthcare professionals across Wales can now access updated Perinatal Mental Health e-learning modules on Y Ty Dysgu.

Developed in partnership with NHS Scotland, the modules offer evidence-based learning to help practitioners understand Perinatal and Infant Mental Health and support families in times of need.

This work supports our commitment to delivering high-quality education and training, and forms part of the Strategic Mental Health Workforce Plan, aligning with A Healthier Wales.

The modules offer practical tools and insights and can be completed in any order, at any pace. The modules include:

  1. Essential Introduction
  2. Keeping Baby in Mind
  3. Stigma
  4. Risk
  5. Assessment
  6. Interventions
  7. Pharmacological approaches

More than 500 learners have already engaged with the modules, with many praising the content for its relevance and impact:
