When do I need to think about my OOP/PhD? Is there a set time this has to be done (eg at IMT2, after ST4 etc)?

The OOP/ PhD can be done any time during the programme, EXCEPT the final year. This should be done with discussions with your TPD to find the optimum time during your training and in line with your progression
