Sources of Support for Trainers

There are many sources of support and advice available to assist trainers in delivering their role(s) effectively and many of these are summarised in the diagram below.

Education Centres based on hospital sites within each Health Board / Trust are an excellent source of advice on education and training and most operate an open-door policy for individuals to drop in for information and guidance.

HEIW's Quality Unit coordinates and manages the trainer recognition process in Wales and provides learning and development opportunities for trainers throughout the year.
