TRAINING IN WALES

The training programme is delivered across Wales (north and south). Trainees tend to be located in the same geographic region (north, south east or south west) for the first three years of the training scheme.

The programme has one of the highest success rates for the FRCS intercollegiate (exit) exam, and trainees are supported to take time out of programme for research or clinical experience whenever possible.
