Learning Management System – Y Ty Dysgu (YTD)

Our Learning Management System (LMS) is a platform for the healthcare profession across Wales. The LMS will not only be a space to view your online and face to face DFT study days but will also provide learning material for you to access in your own time.  

As you are on a Foundation Training Programme we will have added you to a content folder relevant to the Programme. So you do not need to do anything further at this stage if you have registered on Y Ty Dysgu. Once a study day has been delivered you will need to log onto the site and evaluate the session, this will then generate a CPD certificate. 

As you move through your career pathway in Wales, you can amend your profession which will allow you to sign up to CPD courses and access other materials and resources, but for now this is how the LMS will fit into DFT.  You can access the LMS website at https://ytydysgu.heiw.wales

At the end of the appointment, the Postgraduate

Dental Dean will issue a Certificate of Completion to the Foundation Therapist.

Your Educational Supervisor is welcome to attend any study day they feel may be of value.
