Mouth cancer toolkit

The Mouth Cancer QI Toolkit is a self-assessment tool dental teams can use to improve their contribution towards early diagnosis of mouth cancer. It is designed to be used by the whole dental team, who once they have completed the toolkit, should discuss the findings in each section and decide on any necessary further action.

The completed sections of the toolkit remain in the practice and do not need to be submitted to HEIW. However, your local QI Dental Educator is available to provide further support should you need it.
