Quality Assurance Framework for dental workforce development - The committee of postgraduate dental deans and directors (COPDEND) Quality Assurance Framework for dental workforce development was updated in 2019, to reflect the changes made to the general dental council (GDC) enhanced continuing professional development (CPD) scheme
The Dental Association was established in 1991 to serve dentists and associate practitioners in dentistry and orthodontics through the medium of Welsh. Every opportunity is taken to encourage and promote Welsh language within the field. The website has two sections. In the patient’s section, you will be able to find the nearest Welsh speaking dentist, read information leaflets on various treatments, and be helped to understand and learn new Welsh terms for their visit to the dentist. The professional section is for dental professionals and contains news of forthcoming events, stories of past events, and many other sources of information.
The Dental Postgraduate Section has an established engagement with research and evaluation, in collaboration with Cardiff Unit for Research and Evaluation in Medical and Dental Education (CUREMeDE).
The general dental practice (GDC) enhanced continuing professional development (CPD) scheme makes clear that reflection is a key aspect for all registrants to think about the outcomes of their CPD activity.
