Advanced Training Practice: Postgraduate Clinical Placements
Advanced Training Practices (ATPs) currently provide clinical placements for HEIW sponsored Independent Prescribing Optometrists in training. Utilising the wealth of expertise and knowledge within our own profession, our aim is creating supportive environments that empower both current and future generations of optometrists to advance their skills, grow in leadership roles, and contribute to the continued improvement of eye care services across Wales.
They will provide mentorship to trainees, ensuring they gain comprehensive, hands-on clinical experience and professional guidance.
