Guidance:

*All 24/25 and 25/ 26 student cohorts going into their 2nd and 3rd year should follow their previously published mandatory e-learning list. HEIW advice is that required e-learning should be taken forward with the relevant cohort. If there is a requirement for students to complete learning in the 2nd year for example all 2nd year students should undertake that learning. However, there is no expectation those students go back and complete any changes to first year e-learning on the newly published list.
**For Early Warning Score e-learning please complete the following in terms of your area of practice. The primary difference between the modules is the end-of-module case studies:
-
For Adult nursing students please complete ‘NEWS2 Acute Care.’
-
For Learning Disability nursing students please complete ‘NEWS2 Acute Care.’
-
For Mental Health nursing students please complete ‘NEWS2 Mental Health.’
-
For Child nursing students please complete ‘PEWS.’
-
For Midwifery students please complete ‘MEWS.’
-
For Paramedic students please complete ‘NEWS2 Ambulance.’
-
For Physician Associate students please complete ‘NEWS2 Acute Care.’
-
For all other students please complete ‘NEWS2 Acute Care’ as relevant.
If you are still unsure which module to complete, speak with your programme lead.
