Jayne Sadgrove has served on the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since 2016, initially as University IM and then as Vice Chair since 2021. Her specific interests lie in quality, safety and experience, both of service users and staff. She has also had substantial involvement in the oversight of service improvement and transformation.

Jayne worked for 17 years in research intensive universities in England and Wales: she was delighted to conclude her executive career as Chief Operating Officer of Cardiff University, her alma mater. She is a Senior Professional Fellow of Cardiff University and has enjoyed being able to continue engagement with current students as the University’s representative on the Students Union’s board of trustees since 2019.

Jayne has served as the Commissioner for Wales on the Living Wage Commission and on the Ministry of Justice’s Advisory Committee for Magisterial Appointments in Avon, Somerset & Gloucester. Jayne starts with this in September 2023.
