Action 7A successful deployment of Physician Associates

Description

Developing a model to successfully introduce Physician Associates (PAs) into primary and urgent care settings, along with the necessary governance structures.

Benefits

Expanding the healthcare team with more professionals helps improve patient care, access, and efficiency. A mix of healthcare roles allows for better coordination and quicker treatment. PAs play a key part in this, handling routine cases, physical exams, and chronic conditions, freeing up doctors for more complex care. Their broad skill set makes them valuable in providing patient-centred, holistic care. A clear model for integrating PAs will ensure they fit well into teams, leading to better patient outcomes.
