Extended duties for DCP's

We offer a range of Extended Duties courses for qualified and registered Dental Care Professionals (DCPs).

These courses provide an excellent opportunity to enhance your qualifications, develop your clinical knowledge and skills, and support your professional development. They may also open up new career opportunities by extending your scope of practice in line with  General Dental Council’s (GDC) scope of practice guidance.

xtended Duties courses available include:
•    Impression Taking and Intra Oral Scanning 
•    Intra-oral Clinical Photography
•    Measuring and Recording Plaque and Bleeding Indices
•    Making Prevention Work in Practice (MPWiP)

To attend these courses, you must have appropriate indemnity in place and access to a GDC-registered clinical supervisor. Your supervisor will support your training and provide evaluation and feedback as part of your digital portfolio of competence.
