Dental nurse post-cert registration qualifications

We offer several National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) courses, as well as a HEIW Oral Health Education qualification.

The NEBDN accredited, post-registration courses run over several months and require you to complete:

  • theory content, provided by the dental postgraduate department
  • an NEBDN electronic portfolio, completed in the workplace to the required standard
  • NEBDN final examinations.

A clinical supervisor is needed in the workplace to support you in gaining the relevant experience required for the electronic portfolio. They also verify your clinical development and experience.

Dental Care Professionals (DCP’s) who work exclusively in private practices may attend, however fees are applicable.
