Antimicrobial prescribing audit

This is an audit designed to support the effective clinical use of antimicrobials and reduce the number of unnecessary prescriptions which are issued.

The audit involves using a data form to collect information on prescriptions provided. You will also be asked to consider 10 clinical scenarios and decide if and what you would prescribe for each case. Feedback on your submitted data will be provided by your QI Dental Educator.

Completed audits qualify for 3 hours CPD and associated funding for dentists with an NHS Performer Number.
