HEIW @ NHS ConfedExpo 2026: Could AI finally deliver personalised learning at scale?

What if healthcare education could adapt to every learner, every role and every stage of practice?

For decades, personalised learning at scale has felt impossible in healthcare. Workforce pressures, growing complexity and limited capacity have meant standardised approaches became the only viable option.

At NHS ConfedExpo 2026, Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) with Cardiff University, will explore why AI may now be changing that equation.

Join us at the AI Theatre at 2pm on Wednesday 10 June for:

Can AI deliver personalised learning at scale? Lessons from NHS Wales

This interactive panel discussion will explore how NHS Wales is using AI-enabled education tools to support workforce capability, improve access to learning and prepare staff for rapidly evolving models of care.

The session will focus on practical implementation rather than AI hype, including:

  • AI mentors in practice
  • Personalised workforce learning
  • Scenario-based education
  • AI literacy and workforce readiness
  • What works and what doesn’t

The discussion will also explore how collaboration with Cardiff University is helping build a connected pipeline from undergraduate education into workforce practice.

Most importantly, delegates will leave with practical ideas they can take back to their own organisations.

Continue the conversation at HEIW Stand G68

Following the session, delegates can visit the HEIW interactive stand to:

  • Try AI mentors firsthand
  • Experience live demonstrations
  • Explore practical workforce applications
  • Discuss implementation challenges openly
  • Connect with the HEIW

Whether you are exploring AI-enabled learning, workforce transformation or practical approaches to AI adoption, we’d love to talk.
