Dental care professionals consultation on today's working landscape

Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is inviting dental care professionals (DCPs) in Wales to share their views on today’s working landscape through a consultation survey. This is an opportunity for DCPs to help shape future workforce planning and support improvements in recruitment and retention across the dental profession. 

The survey is open until 20 June 2026. 

The survey will inform HEIW’s ongoing work to develop a long term dental workforce retention plan for Wales. Insights gathered will help build a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the workforce, supporting more effective, evidence based planning. 

All responses are anonymous and will be used as a primary data source to inform this work.
