Decontamination and Sterilisation all-Wales induction consultation

The initial consultation to understand the requirements of NHS Wales Decontamination and Sterilisation Services for a standardised all-Wales induction programme for band 2 and 3 staff took place between September - October 2025. in the initial results, all respondents agreed that a standardised programme would be good for Decontamination and Sterilisation services in Wales, and that the proposed areas would be sufficient for an induction programme for band 2 and 3 staff. 

This initial consultation will now be followed by further engagement and meetings with the sector to develop an all-Wales induction programme for Decontamination and Sterilisation Services in Wales.
