Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is located at Tŷ Dysgu in Nantgarw, South East Wales.
Tŷ Dysgu is a short drive north from Junction 32 on the M4 and has convenient links into the South Wales valleys and beyond via the A470.
The nearest train station to Tŷ Dysgu is Trefforest Estate which is serviced by two railway routes: the Merthyr Line and the Rhondda Line.
Please note there is an approximate 40 minute walk from the train station to Tŷ Dysgu via Willowford Road > Gwaelod Y Garth Road > Main Avenue.
Nantgarw’s bus services are frequent, with two companies providing transport to and from the Cardiff area:
There are three stops in Nantgarw (all within close proximity of Tŷ Dysgu) – Nantgarw Castle Bingo, Nantgarw Cross Keys Inn and Parc Nantgarw.

The Taff Trail is recognised as a scenic and safe route to Tŷ Dysgu. It is a 16.5 mile pathway that runs between Cardiff Bay and Pontypridd, stopping at Nantgarw along the way. This route is mainly off-road, but does join quieter roads at Tongwynlais.
