In October 2023, we launched the first bilingual NHS Wales Staff Survey. Each autumn NHS Wales colleagues will be invited to take part in the NHS Wales Staff Survey. The survey offers a snapshot in time of how people experience their working lives, gathered at the same time each year. Its strength is in capturing a national picture alongside local detail, enabling a range of organisations to understand what it is like for staff across different parts of the NHS and work to make improvements.
The aggregated survey results provide a rich source of data that is used by a wide range of NHS organisations to inform understanding of staff experience locally, regionally and nationally.
This year, the survey will go live on Tuesday 1 October.
Once again, to preserve anonymity and confidentiality, there will be no unique identifiable information linked to electronic or paper submissions, keeping your voice completely anonymous.
Staff members can access the survey electronically, via any smart device with internet access (scan a QR Code or click on a web link) or paper copies with pre-paid envelopes.
If you have any questions relating to the survey, please contact your local Staff Survey Partnership Lead:
