Health Education and Improvement Wales Pharmacy and the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) have been working collaboratively on a national project to develop an Advanced Practice Framework for Pharmacy Technicians.
The framework will provide clarity on the skills and competencies required for existing and emerging advanced practice roles.
On 5 March 2019 a consultation was launched to enable Pharmacy Technicians to feedback on the draft framework.
