New and improved Digital Capability Framework

The Digital Capability Framework (DCF) on Y Ty Dysgu has been updated to offer a more streamlined and interactive introduction to the self-evaluation tool. 

This means the DCF is more efficient and easier to access and use, resulting in a better user experience for healthcare staff across Wales. 

The DCF offers all the information needed to get the most out of the framework and help you and your teams progress on your digital capability development journey.  

Upon registration to Y Ty Dysgu, all users have access to the DCF.  

Single sign on for NHS Wales staff  

Registering on Y Ty Dysgu is simple, Once registered, NHS Wales users will benefit from the new single sign on functionality, and can access Y Ty Dysgu with ease.

Incorporating the DCF into appraisals and inductions 

The DCF offers organisations an opportunity to support their staff to develop their digital capability. By incorporating the DCF self-evaluation into appraisals and inductions, staff have the ability to demonstrate their levels of digital capability and identify objectives for the next 12 months. Line managers and leaders can offer the DCF as a tool for development and a measurable action.
