Work based learning

This section of the website details the different types of accredited work-based learning that is available to healthcare staff. Accreditation of the education ensures that it is transferable should an individual wish to move from one organisation to another.

Education and training are fundamental to the development of a safe and effective healthcare workforce. It is a key role of HEIW to work with stakeholders to develop education and training that not only meets current needs but will also underpin the development of any new roles and service delivery models.
