Specialty Registrar (StR) Appointment in Dental Public Health in Wales

Applications are invited for a specialty training post in Dental Public Health based with Public Health Wales NHS Trust. This post is suitable for trainees who wish to enter a training programme leading to the award of a Certificate of Completion in Specialty Training (CCST) in this specialty.

Candidates are expected to have an understanding of the dental public health training curriculum and roles and responsibilities of a consultant in Dental Public Health.

This post has the approval of the Postgraduate Dental Dean for Wales.

Progress in the programme will be subject to satisfactory annual review. The normal duration of training will be as determined by the GDC’s curriculum for the specialty. Eligibility for the recommendation by the Postgraduate Dental Dean for Wales of the award of a CCST, by the GDC, will be subject to completion of the training requirements of the deanery.
